History
In the OVA Going Fishing with Middle-aged Men, the salamander is chased by Mumen Rider and Chain'n'toad and takes refuge in a lake where the veteran heroes Atomic Samurai and Bang happen to be fishing. Thriving in the water, it toys with its two pursuers, briefly acknowledging Chain'n'toad's skill with the kusarigama before swallowing him whole. When the younger pair fail to stop it, Atomic Samurai intervenes, slaying the beast and freeing Chain'n'toad from its stomach.
