Hollowed cheeks and pale hair falling to his shoulders define his face. Sprouting from his scalp are several branches capped with flowers, apparently outgrowths of the vegetation living inside him. Though he ranks in A-Class, his body looks thin and fragile, since the plants he hosts steadily drain his nourishment.

His plant control demands considerable energy, and this seems to shape a composed, level-headed disposition. He generally carries himself as a reasonable and sensible man.

In his youth, vegetation began sprouting within his body and gradually fused with his nervous system, leaving him able to conjure and steer it at will. He later signed on with the Hero Association and worked his way up to his present standing.

During the Monster Association campaign, he is summoned alongside other lower-ranked heroes to reinforce the S-Class fighters. Encircled by swarms of monsters, he holds his own and saves One Shotter by slaying an insect creature about to finish him; an impressed Crescent Eyebroll listens as Green recounts how the plants took root in him as a child, all while his vines strangle more foes. When Rhino Wrestler shows up, Green is among the many who strike at once, only to be flung aside, his hit rated a mere 18 out of 100. After Atomic Samurai fells Rhino Wrestler, Green uses his vines to hold a first-aid kit while Double Hole tends to Needle Star. Left on the surface with the other support heroes, he seals off every base exit but the one they defend. Nyan then storms the group, and Green teams with Monster Roper Shell to pin the creature so Mizuki can hurl a discus, yet Nyan breaks loose and beats him.

Later, during the Neo Heroes era, Green and Crescent Eyebroll are cast as guards for a new luxury apartment complex the Association is selling to raise money, a role that infuriates his partner and leaves Green grumbling, especially once Metal Knight's defense system is touted as worth more than every A-Class hero combined. He also joins the crowd of heroes drawn to the A-City headquarters when an alarm sounds during Tatsumaki's fight with Apollo. Notably, he is one of the few heroes whose power stems from neither raw physical prowess nor psychic ability.
