Heroes

A hero is anyone who battles for justice and keeps civilians safe from monsters, criminals, natural catastrophes, and every other danger. Most work beneath the Hero Association, which enrolls them and hands each a numbered slot inside their bracket. Beyond those official rolls sit unregistered heroes, frequently written off as oddballs, along with capable ordinary people who now and then shoulder the work themselves.

Almost every hero falls under the Hero Association and lands in one of four brackets. The floor is C-Class, the usual entry point; even its weakest still overpower any normal person, yet they must log heroic deeds each week or forfeit their registration, and no tier is more crowded. Reaching the peak of C-Class unlocks B-Class, where the weekly quota vanishes and members can put down Wolf-level dangers. Above that comes A-Class, home to famous, formidable figures who can fell Tiger-level monsters. The pinnacle is S-Class, the Association's finest: each is judged the equal of a full army division, and several bring down Dragon-level beings alone. Genos once pegged the total roster near six hundred, though a steady flow of talent toward the rival Neo Heroes has started to thin them out.

Blast occupies the top of S-Class at rank one, ahead of figures like Atomic Samurai, Tatsumaki, King, Metal Knight, and Genos; the bracket recently slid from seventeen down to thirteen after four resignations, namely Superalloy Darkshine and Metal Bat plus Child Emperor and Silver Fang. A-Class answers to Sweet Mask at its head, a tier that pushed past thirty-nine seats once Saitama earned promotion into it in the wake of the Monster Association incident. Fubuki commands the top of B-Class, while Mumen Rider enjoys the most respect across the vast C-Class. Beyond the registry, the odd unregistered hero and skilled outsiders such as the Council of Swordmasters or the retired Bomb have pitched in whenever the Association comes up short.
