Phoenix Space

The realm looks like a serene, open grassland dotted with statues of characters from the children's program Animal Kingdom. Because it grows directly out of Phoenix Man's psyche, its peaceful, orderly look reflects his inner state.

Phoenix Man frames the space through old shaman lore, explaining that ritual garments once let gods and spirits inhabit human vessels and that the hollow within any costume opens onto the spirit world. He can tie another mind to the realm and converse there, though a strong enough will can break free, as Child Emperor did, and Saitama forced his way in by uncertain means. Time also runs oddly inside; a lengthy talk there passed as only three seconds in the outside world.

During his rematch with Child Emperor, Phoenix Man twice hauled the hero into the Phoenix Space to coax him into switching sides. The boy refused and escaped through sheer willpower the first time. On the second attempt Saitama broke in by knocking on the realm, rattled Phoenix Man, and the three of them left together.
