Appearance

Tall and brown-haired, Sekingar keeps to a sober business suit in dark tones. A metal prosthetic fills the socket where his right eye once sat, and it doubles as one of his few tools in a fight.

Personality

Sharp and composed, Sekingar plans and runs the Association's operations with cold efficiency, always calculating whatever serves the organization best. That caution shows when he benches Silver Fang and the Demon Cyborg from the Waganma rescue, distrustful of Genos's murky past and of Bang's emotional ties to Garou.

He readily brands himself a glory hound, admitting his true motive for heading the mission is climbing to advisor rank and carving out a lasting place in the record books, a sting sharpened by his own past failure at the hero exam. Yet genuine courage surfaces in a crisis: after Nyan flattened nearly the whole support team, he hauled each unconscious hero to safety alone and braced to face a Demon-level G5 even after losing part of his arm. In his view, everyone has a use, be they dazzling diamonds or humble stones.

History

Sekingar first turns up in the Rumored Monster Arc at an Association briefing, where Golden Ball and Spring Mustachio bring him word of a run-in with the monster Kombu Infinity and rumors of powerful creatures already massing nearby. During the Monster Association Arc, a staffer possessed by the parasite Destrochloridium interrupts a meeting carrying a drone from Gyoro Gyoro; the monsters feign a wish for peace, kill a staff member, and grant three days before Superalloy Darkshine obliterates the parasite. Once Elder Centipede falls, the staff weigh classifying Garou as a Dragon-level disaster, and when Narinki storms in demanding his son, Sekingar steps forward as commander of the rescue. He confers with Tatsumaki, Pig God, and Superalloy Darkshine, cooling Tatsumaki's overconfidence by beaming a Drive Knight feed from his prosthetic eye to warn that the hero has vanished. After trading notes with Child Emperor, he pulls Genos and Bang from the operation, then joins the assault on the Monster Association base and tags a monster with his mechanical eye.

Handed the rescued Waganma, his escort is jumped by Nyan; sensing the cat's lethal intent, Sekingar orders Mizuki to flee with the boy. He drags fallen heroes to cover while Drive Knight fights, then watches him return holding the burnt-out Nyan. Moments later a laser from the wrecked G5 vaporizes his right hand, and Genos arrives to destroy the machine before carrying the wounded out of Z-City to a waiting convoy, where Sekingar tends his injuries, briefs Sitch, and passes along Drive Knight's intelligence. Hidden aboard the convoy, he later reveals himself to urge Pineapple and Mohican onward and sends King together with Metal Bat to shore up the S-Class, earning Metal Bat's respect. With Sitch's blessing he then crosses into the Neo Heroes to spy on McCoy, trading his eye and prosthetic hand for replacements from Child Emperor and taking Metal Bat along as bodyguard.

In a fight Sekingar is weaker than most heroes and leans on cyborg gear that barely helps; leadership is his real gift. His cybernetic eye projects data like a hologram and can fire a laser, though it is crude enough that bright sun forces him to shield it, and his Executive Beam manages only a feeble shot that lightly scorches a weak monster.
