Shizuka

Shizuka is a young woman of slender build.

The traits that made her a recruiter show clearly on the job. Speaking with Accel, she was candid about how badly the Association was faring, admitting that only its S-Class fighters could still stand against monsters while the rest lay recovering in hospital beds. She chooses her words well, flattering prospects by pointing to their achievements, and she takes rejection in stride, ready to circle back and try again as often as it takes. She is also not above grumbling about the work, especially when a target lives somewhere remote, and openly regards recruiting as a grueling task.

Shizuka sought out Accel and offered him and his Neo Hunters a place in the Hero Association, dangling an S-Class rank as bait. He turned her down, saying he had no faith in the organization, and warned her before she left that a fresh hero group was about to be unveiled, that the Association's days were numbered, and that she ought to line up other work. She surfaced again alongside several fellow scouts at the mountain dojo of Void Fist, hoping to enlist Suicho, only to find his granddaughter Suiko and learn the old master had passed away two years earlier. Undeterred by the disappointment, she signed Suiko into the Association instead. Shizuka has no combat ability beyond that of an ordinary person.
