Sosshi

A sweep of hair falls across the right side of his face. In the field he is sheathed in the white powered armor supplied to the squad by The Organization.

Sosshi carries the standard mercenary streak, ready to grovel or even shed tears when his neck is on the line, yet he is honest enough with himself to quietly acknowledge how pitiful his position has become. That candor surfaces after he watches Amai Mask trade blows with Pesky Clown; despite the hero's monstrous new look, Sosshi speaks up for him, insisting the man still gambled his life to shield others.

Like his leader Tongara, he can counterfeit his feelings and dupe onlookers through sheer acting, convincingly aping the behavior of a Do-S love slave after living through that fate only once, though vicious monsters such as Royal Ripper see straight through the performance.

Narinki assembles Sosshi and his teammates to pull his son Waganma out of the Monster Association, dangling a reward so lavish it would spare even their grandchildren any labor. The squad breaks into the enemy base but is overpowered, and while fleeing they are seized by G5 and delivered to Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro. Royal Ripper slaughters the monsters angling to kill them so he can claim the captives himself, only for Do-S to block his blade and convert the mercenaries into her mind-controlled slaves. When heroes storm the headquarters, the enslaved squad is told to cut down any hero they cross.

They clash with Atomic Samurai's three disciples until Sweet Mask arrives intending to butcher the whole group; the pupils double back, subdue Sosshi and the others, and inadvertently spare them from death. Do-S's defeat lifts the whip's control, and a grateful Sosshi thanks the disciples before joining Tongara in pretending the earlier cowardice was merely an act. The combined force slays monsters together until Evil Natural Water is unleashed and floors them all. Iaian and Pig God rescue the unconscious mercenaries from the crumbling Z-City, but Fuhrer Ugly catches Sosshi and mockingly tears off his arm.

He survives, and by the Neo Heroes Saga he and his old comrades work as guards at Narinki Park, where Pesky Clown later batters them during his rampage. His advanced battle suit let the squad pressure fighters of S-Class caliber, and stripped of his sword and twin energized daggers he falls back on a kick-heavy close-combat style.
