Swim

Swim is a young girl whose cheeks carry a permanent flush, framed by short brown hair and matching brown eyes. Off duty she dresses in blue shorts and a blue shirt layered under a yellow sweater. Her hero getup swaps all that for a wetsuit paired with scuba goggles and a utility belt, and she carries a trident as her weapon of choice.

Gentle and soft spoken, Swim struggles with confidence in her own heroics, yet she summoned enough courage to volunteer for the dangerous job of locating a bomb hidden on a train. The scare nearly pushed her to walk away from hero work altogether before she steadied herself and decided to press on. She idolizes Fubuki and holds onto the hope of earning a place among the Blizzard Group.

Swim shared a train car with Genos and Fubuki when word of a bomb spread through the passengers. She stepped up to search for it, explaining to their doubtful looks that she too was a hero, if only C-Class. As Fubuki cleared the cars of people, Swim eventually located the device tucked inside a restroom stall. Panic set in as the train neared the station, but Fubuki cut off her frantic questions and pushed her to safety off the train.

The two crossed paths again afterward, and Swim thanked her rescuer before realizing she stood before the B-Class number one, the Hellish Blizzard. She confessed to sitting at the very bottom of the C-Class ranks, buckling under the weekly quotas, and often weighing whether to give up the work entirely, admitting she had felt useless during the crisis. Sensing an inferiority complex, Fubuki warmed to her, and she was caught off guard when Swim declared she wanted to keep going and someday serve under her in the Blizzard Group. Fubuki told the girl to raise the request again once she reached B-Class, and to address her as Boss Blizzard as all her members did.
