Tanktop Al Dente

In keeping with the rest of the tank top themed heroes, Al Dente is a well built man with cropped hair who sports the signature sleeveless shirt. The distinguishing touch is the design on his top, a speckled pattern that calls to mind cheese scattered over a dish.

His character has barely been touched on. What is known amounts to his eating habits: he starts his mornings with a plate of pasta and has a heavy hand with the cheese.

Al Dente joined the rest of the Tank Topper Army in tracking down the Hero Hunter, but Garou proved far too much for them and left the whole group hospitalized. When their leader Tanktop Master suddenly rushed off to the ruins of Z-City, Al Dente followed with his comrades. There he pulled the wounded from rubble and helped evacuate them, then joined the other tanktoppers in cornering and beating a weakened Garou until Zombieman stepped in to question the villain and King's arrival finally halted the mob.

Later he stood among the many heroes gathered at the A-City headquarters when Tatsumaki battled Apollo in the lower levels, arriving to investigate once the alarm sounded. He also attended the 37th tanktop meeting, where he met the newcomers Hyottoko, Gasmask Cowboy, and Studless before a Forest Tribe assault in Y-City drew the tanktoppers into a fight against the Forest King that nearly killed them, until Genos arrived to save them. In an earlier extra chapter, he and the other Tank Toppers tried and failed to stop the drones of a huge machine descending on the headquarters, standing down only after learning it was Metal Knight's device rebuilding A-City into a new base.
