Appearance

Behind the getup is a youthful man wearing a flat, disinterested expression at all times. He seals himself into a full-body dog suit topped with a red collar, his own face peering out through the opening where the costume's snout would sit.

Personality

Curt and unbothered, Watchdog Man holds the same deadpan look no matter the situation, which leaves him nearly impossible to read. He essentially lives as a dog: he never peels off the suit, keeping it on even to bathe and sleep, eats without utensils, drops back on his haunches when idle, curls into a dog bed to rest, and takes a four-legged stance to face an enemy rather than standing to meet one. His loyalty runs to his territory above all else. Inside Q-City he chases down every monster that strays in and rips them apart as fast and as savagely as he can, often perched atop the piled corpses of the ones he kills. Human opponents earn softer handling; he beat Garou clear out of the city instead of finishing him, even teasing the Hero Hunter by shaking his attacking hands mid-fight. Much like Saitama, he tires of things fast, once walking out of a sparring match at Bang's dojo out of plain boredom to go hunt monsters.

Abilities

Being entrusted with Q-City, rated the most dangerous place in the nation for the sheer count and severity of its monsters, speaks volumes about how formidable Watchdog Man is. Even early in his career he tore the head off a huge Demon-level beast without so much as a scratch, and he has never once lost to a monster, drawing dread and respect from heroes and villains alike. His raw power lets him rend creatures far larger than himself with bare hands, and his speed and reflexes are staggering: he wiped out roughly thirty Monster Association members at once and came away untouched, stunning a watching Garou. He fought the Hero Hunter to a standstill while holding back, keeping a pace Garou could not answer. Doglike senses round out the arsenal, giving him flawless smell and hearing that flag any intruder the moment it steps onto his ground. Tellingly, he wields no special moves or weapons whatsoever, relying on nothing but hand-to-hand fighting; his beast-like style even undid Garou, whose techniques were designed for human targets and never meant for a foe who fights like an animal.
