The Divine Beasts are colossal interdimensional guardians that answer to the entity called God. Dwelling within the Rift in Spacetime, they threaten to pour into Earth whenever Blast abandons the post that holds them back.
Also called Guardian Beasts, the Divine Beasts are enormous creatures from beyond ordinary space that pledge their service to the being known as God. Their forms echo mythic animals: witnesses have seen shapes suggesting a dragon, a tortoise, and a tiger, each bearing massive fangs and dull eyes that spew flame. Their home lies in the Rift in Spacetime, and only Blast's presence at his station keeps them from spilling through a dimensional gap into the world.
During the Ninjas Arc, a tear split the sky near Sonic's Hideout after Blast wandered too far from his post. Two guardians of God, Byakko and Genbu, pushed through and began smashing entire city blocks apart. Empty Void, restored to humanity and released from God's grip once Saitama's blow had knocked him out, allied with Blast to bring the pair down, after which Blast returned their bodies to the dimension they had come from.
Venturing afterward into the Rift in Spacetime, Blast and Void came upon a third beast, Kirin, already slain. Blast understood that Saitama had been the one to kill it.
Three guardians appear in the story, all of them deceased. Byakko, patterned after the mythological White Tiger, and Genbu, drawn from the Black Tortoise, both rated at roughly Dragon threat or beyond, fell to Blast and Void. Kirin, inspired by the Qilin, was found dead within the Rift, killed by Saitama.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Divine Beast Kirin was killed by Saitama. Blast and Empty Void later found Kirin already dead inside the Rift in Spacetime and understood that Saitama had been responsible.
The Divine Beasts, also called Guardian Beasts, are enormous interdimensional creatures that serve the entity known as God. They resemble mythic animals such as a dragon, a tortoise, and a tiger, and they live within the Rift in Spacetime.
The Divine Beasts answer to the being called God and are normally kept from entering Earth by Blast, who guards a dimensional gap at his post. They only break through when Blast leaves that post unattended.
Byakko and Genbu are two Divine Beasts modeled on the mythological White Tiger and Black Tortoise. Both broke into Earth during the Ninjas Arc and were defeated by Blast and Empty Void after causing widespread destruction.
The Divine Beasts live within the Rift in Spacetime, a dimension separate from Earth. Blast's presence at his station is what normally prevents them from crossing over into the human world.
