The Mediocre Ability Users

The Mediocre Ability Users come together online, meeting through an unnamed forum before ever seeing one another in person. Each of them has somehow acquired a supernatural power, and they bond over a shared grievance: the conviction that the wider world badly underrates what they can do.

Proving that point is their aim, though the group appears exclusively in animated form. They headline the seventh original video animation, and nothing about them carries over into the manga or webcomic.

The members finally gather face to face inside a public restroom, sketching out a plan for a crime and grumbling that a fourth recruit has failed to appear. When they cross paths with Saitama, they take him for one of their own, then turn on him the moment he calls himself a hero. Their attacks backfire so badly that Saitama has to save them from their own powers.

Humbled, they measure themselves against earners like Tatsumaki, Fubuki, and Volten and resolve to pool their talents for something bigger. Dirt Earthworm interrupts with a rising wall of soil, only for Saitama to launch the monster away and rescue them a second time. Genos then shows up, assumes the group is harassing his master, and presses them to leave. Rather than admit the truth, they claim to be aspiring heroes looking to spar, and a convinced Saitama ropes them into his punishing training routine, which leaves them too frightened to come clean.

Enjoe is credited as the group's leader, joined by Brut and Chemonille, all three of whom remain active. Records also point to a fourth, unnamed associate whose status is uncertain, the very recruit who never turned up when the others assembled.
