Boros's Restraining Armor

Boros keeps his monstrous power bottled up behind a ceremonial suit of armor, a deliberate handicap that lets the alien commander draw out his brawls rather than finish them in a single strike. By muffling his own strength, he can taste the excitement of combat without slaughtering an opponent before the fight has even begun.

Exactly how much of his might the plating holds back has never been measured, and the true ceiling of his ability while armored remains a mystery.

The suit is cast in gold and studded with spiked ornamentation, with a single crimson eye set into the breastplate and a flowing cape draped behind. Its most notable trait is protective rather than offensive. Even after Saitama tears it apart, the wreckage cushions Boros enough that an ordinary punch leaves him comparatively intact, placing him among the rare beings able to weather a strike from the bald hero.

Boros alone wears the armor, treating it as a permanent restraint across his many campaigns. During his showdown with Saitama, the entire set is smashed to pieces, its sealing purpose broken along with the metal.
