Its counterpart is the Sun Blade, and the old tale insists that whoever wields the pair together will attain strength that has no equal. Because the sword has never actually appeared, its powers are known only through the legend that binds it to the Sun Blade. On its own it is simply the missing half of the set; the promised unmatched might is said to arrive only when both blades are held by a single swordsman.
