Saitama's Hero Suit

Saitama's costume is a plush, full-body onesie in bright yellow, closed at the chest by a white zipper. A broad white cape fastens to each shoulder with large black buttons, and the outfit is rounded out by deep red rubber gloves and boots plus a black belt with a solid metal buckle. Worn loosely it drapes over him and hides his frame, but the moment he means business it hugs his body and reveals his muscle. Tailored to his 175-centimeter height, it appears to be made from high-grade fabric and fittings. His bald head paired with that eye-catching cape is what saddles him with the hero name Caped Baldy. The cape started out red during the House of Evolution events and was recolored white by the Giant Meteor arc, and while the original webcomic drew the suit without a zipper, that detail was introduced in the manga and kept for the anime.

Before this costume, Saitama got by in a worn blue training tracksuit. In Road to Hero, the very tailor who used to patch that tracksuit sews the hero outfit and gives it to him. He was initially too self-conscious to be seen in it and kept it tucked beneath his old clothes, but he came to treasure it deeply over time. He sulks when food stains it and steers clear of anything that might scorch his cape mid-fight, and he keeps it clean, even scrubbing monster blood off the gloves. The suit reads as fairly tough, which may simply be the cartoon convention of unbreakable clothes, and Genos is implied to mend it when it tears. It shrugged off a bone-vaporizing blast from Boros while losing most of the cape, took a claw through the cape inside the Monster Association Headquarters, and was only truly wrecked when Garou's Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist reduced it to a single surviving left glove, after which Saitama regained it once the Ominous Future timeline was reversed.

Saitama is the outfit's owner and the only one it was made for. The look is distinctive enough to be borrowed elsewhere: Speed-o'-Sound Sonic dons a knockoff of it in the audio drama Sonic, Becoming Saitama while trying to pass himself off as the hero, and in the Overwatch 2 One-Punch Man crossover the suit appears as a legendary skin worn by Doomfist.
