Key Events

Zombieman absorbs a string of otherwise lethal wounds yet keeps pressing the attack until Pureblood finally falls. Afterward he admits the opponent was the toughest he has faced in a while and that the fight left him worn out. Bending the door's bar around the handles to lock the chamber, he turns on the crowd of monsters that had gathered to watch and wipes them out to the last. He then sits down to let his body knit itself back together, lighting a cigarette and checking his Locator. Child Emperor reports over the line that the hostage Waganma is safe and headed for the surface, ordering the heroes to keep to their missions but warning them against pushing too deep into enemy territory. His break finished and his wounds healed, Zombieman rises and continues down his route.
