Choosing to trust Sweet Mask, the three disciples pull back and leave him to deal with Do-S and her mind-controlled Narinki's Private Squad. Do-S reveals she is a fan and offers to release the slaves in exchange for time with him, but he tells her flatly that bargaining gets her nowhere. She responds by hurling her slaves at the hero, vowing to make him hers. As the disciples flee to another area, they turn over what Sweet Mask might be planning, and Iaian suspects he intends to kill the brainwashed mercenaries outright, recalling what the hero once did to the surviving Dark Matter Thieves.

Just as Sweet Mask reaches to behead the squad, the disciples rush back and knock the enslaved men out with surprise strikes before he can finish them. The opening lets Sweet Mask grab Do-S's whip and drive her head into the wall. Irritated that the swordsmen spoiled his execution, he watches as they cover for themselves, claiming they believed he had sent them off to lower the enemy's guard. Iaian quietly urges the others to play along while privately resolving to look into Sweet Mask after the raid. As the hero considers killing the disciples too for aiding evil, the freed Narinki men wake and thank their rescuers. Do-S then coils her leg around Sweet Mask's throat and stabs his eye with her tongue, only to freeze when the wound does not bleed and his face merely cracks, revealing he is not human. Before she can expose him, he crushes her head. When the grateful mercenaries crowd him for autographs, an annoyed Sweet Mask orders the swordsmen to guide them to the surface while he stays behind.

The Tonari no Young Jump version carried the title Viewer-Prohibited Battle before it was renamed for Volume 22. Revised May 8, 2020, this one hundred sixth chapter is the only one to have most of its pages completely redrawn, and it adapts into anime Episode 34. The volume and online printings differ in which freed mercenaries Iaian comforts first.
