Summary

Bang and Bomb round off their tandem technique against Overgrown Rover, and Fubuki, awed by the pair, assumes the dog is finished. She is especially taken with Bomb, having pegged him as nothing more than an ordinary old man, and tries to draft him into her own group. Rover cuts the moment short, rising unhurt and lively despite absorbing the brothers' combined blow.

Exasperated, Bang simply orders the dog to sit and mind itself, and to everyone's shock the monster complies, letting the heroes slip past. Elsewhere, Flashy Flash and Saitama roll along in a minecart bound for the Monster King's lair with Manako guiding them. She means to release the cart at a junction and send them plunging to their deaths, but once she glimpses how deep the fall goes, her nerve fails and she leaves the trap unsprung.
