Injured as she is, Fubuki tries to throw herself into the fight against the remaining Monster Association members to help her sister and the other heroes. Bomb stops her out of concern for her safety, and after watching her he observes that she and Tatsumaki are more alike than she cares to admit, a comparison Fubuki flatly rejects.

On the battlefield the heroes are managing to hold off Black Sperm's countless copies, with the Council of Swordmasters and Spring Mustachio arriving to strengthen the line. Seeing the fight turn stubborn, one Black Sperm clone begs Homeless Emperor for aid, but he is lounging in the rubble and refuses, framing the S-Class hunt as a competition and daring the clone to prove itself. Privately, Homeless Emperor schemes to wipe out Black Sperm once it has multiplied to its limit and become a threat to humanity through sheer numbers, and he keeps watching as the monster strains against its opponents.

Genos delivers Tanktop Master to Fubuki and asks her to heal him before he rejoins the fray. Both Fubuki and Bomb are shaken by how badly hurt Tanktop Master is. Doubting her dwindling power will be enough, Fubuki proposes that she and Bomb pool their strength. She lays her hand beside his on Tanktop Master and channels their combined energy through her telekinesis, and the wounded hero begins, at least a little, to recover.

Then a now-monstrous Garou tears up from underground before Fubuki and Bomb. The elder martial artist bellows for Bang, alerting his brother and the rest. With Bang busy fending off Black Sperm's clones, Atomic Samurai offers to take that spot so Bang can respond, and Bang gratefully accepts. As Bomb braces to face Garou, he orders Fubuki to keep her distance.
