Speed-o'-Sound Sonic corners Saitama again and declares that this encounter will end with the hero dead. Saitama cuts the threat short, saying he has other things on his mind and no interest in fighting. The brush-off stings Sonic's pride and provokes him into a sword strike, but Saitama snaps the blade apart with his teeth, leaving the ninja stunned.

Their standoff catches the attention of a passerby who flags one of them as suspicious. The one who answers the call is Tanktop Tiger, a C-Class hero ranked sixth. Saitama assumes the newcomer has arrived to deal with Sonic, only to learn that he himself is the target, having been reported for wandering the streets looking shady. Saitama insists he is also a professional hero, a rookie one, but Tanktop Tiger dismisses the claim and orders him to leave before he ruins the reputation of real heroes.

Before the confrontation can go further, Sonic strikes Tanktop Tiger down with an Exploding Shuriken, dropping him instantly and scattering the frightened crowd. Sonic shrugs off the attack as simply putting an obstacle to sleep. To bait Saitama into a real duel, he leaps into the air and unleashes a barrage of exploding blades across the surrounding district, spreading chaos and endangering the civilians. Saitama rescues a child from a falling car by bending a tree into a shield, then, fed up with the interruptions to his own errand, slams Sonic into the ground and mutters that the blow should cover his weekly hero quota.

Sonic returns for another attempt on Saitama's life, and his sword is destroyed the instant it meets Saitama's mouth. Tanktop Tiger, ranked sixth in C-Class, arrives to detain Saitama rather than confront Sonic, only to be knocked unconscious by an Exploding Shuriken. Sonic then scatters exploding blades across the neighborhood in a formation meant to force a fight, and Saitama ends the incident by driving him into the pavement.

The chapter carries the alternate reading Sore Dokoro Janai and corresponds to Episode 6 of the anime adaptation, falling within the National Superhero Registry Arc. Saitama and Sonic share the cover. A closing bonus page shows the aftermath, with an ambulance carrying Sonic away and the imprint of his face left behind in the ground.
