Chapter 207 (Retconned): Bind

This retconned chapter, carrying the title Bind, sits within the Ninjas Arc and centers on the confrontation between Blast and Empty Void. Speed-o'-Sound Sonic and Flashy Flash watch from the sidelines as Blast attempts to subdue his enemy without ending his life.

Blast pins Void in place using orbs of gravity and explains that reaching the higher dimension requires a two-handed seal. He notes that fifteen years of training have gone into restraining foes alive rather than killing them, since he wants Void taken captive. Void retaliates with glowing spheres that mirror Homeless Emperor's radiant attacks, but Blast counters by conjuring dark orbs that cancel the divine light. When Sonic hurls explosive kunai to finish the bound enemy, Blast knocks them aside and warns him not to interfere.

Void then drains the binding orbs, frees his hands, and completes the seal. A second gravity attempt from Blast comes too late, as Void vanishes into the higher dimension with a laugh, leaving the three heroes bewildered. Startled that his darkness sealed away the light yet was absorbed anyway, Blast can only react as Void unleashes a Dimensional Slash from above. He grabs both Sonic and Flash and opens a portal to safety, while the strike splits the earth and carves through distant mountains and clouds.

Released on October 31, 2024, the chapter runs seventeen pages in its online form and lists Empty Void as its cover character. It belongs to a stretch of the story later reworked, hence its retconned status, and connects the earlier chapter Partner to the following installment, Perversity.
