The forty-ninth chapter of One-Punch Man, "I'm Bored Anyway," has Saitama expect to be Garou's next target and then latch onto the cash prize of the Super Fight Tournament after Charanko tells him about it.
Garou wraps up his chat with Tareo and departs. Back at the hospital, Tanktop Master keeps warning Saitama about the hunter's skill and the danger he poses, and once Saitama learns that Garou targets the mightiest heroes, he figures his own turn is coming, though no one grasps his true strength except perhaps Mumen Rider.
Saitama then stops in on Charanko, saying he feels sorry the youngster got dragged into the mess before steering the talk elsewhere. When he mentions his wish to test himself against strong martial artists and starts to leave out of boredom, Charanko brings up the Super Fight Tournament. Warned that the entry pass carries Charanko's name and should not be used under false pretenses, Saitama fixates instead on the size of the cash prize.
Garou parts ways with Tareo. Tanktop Master stresses how dangerous Garou is, leading Saitama to expect he will be hunted next. Saitama visits Charanko, who reveals the Super Fight Tournament, and Saitama zeroes in on the prize money.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
