Chapter 50

One night at the Venomous Bug tavern, Garou picks a fight with Golden Ball and, after a needlessly rude gesture, the two head into a side alley to settle it. Feigning drunkenness, Golden Ball opens with a quick assault meant to end things fast, but Garou slips every strike, prompting the marksman to try a ricocheting shot that catches Garou off guard.

Garou brushes off the hit as luck and warns there will be no repeat, yet Golden Ball insists his ammunition is far from spent and unloads nearly all of it at once. Garou dodges the entire barrage. Rattled, Golden Ball fires his final round, only for Garou to deflect it into another bullet in flight and keep redirecting the rest. As Garou closes in, Spring Mustachio steps in, claiming he grew worried since the two were meant to be drinking together nearby. He attacks, and when Garou leaps, Spring Mustachio unleashes his Et La, Tomboy thrust; Garou lets the blade run through his hand, strikes back, and drops him. Golden Ball issues a warning that Garou simply mocks.

Garou challenges Golden Ball and they relocate to an alley. Golden Ball's ricochet shot briefly surprises Garou, then he fires his whole arsenal and Garou evades every round before redirecting them. Spring Mustachio intervenes with his Et La, Tomboy technique, Garou defeats him, and taunts Golden Ball.

Titled "Getting Cocky!" (Tonari 72 and 73), the chapter belongs to Volume 10 and the Hero Hunt Arc and was adapted in Episode 15. Its cover features Saitama and Garou.
