Chapter 90: Hot Pot

Genos, King, Bang, and Bomb sit tense inside Saitama's apartment, certain that his rumpled state means he clashed with Garou. Saitama waves the idea off, oblivious that he really had bested the hunter a third time, and instead grumbles about a misplaced wallet and the cabbage he never bought. Fubuki turns up carrying that very cabbage, sore over being stuck with his restaurant bill.

Genos senses a swift approach and dispatches King to meet it, but the incoming threat proves to be Dr. Kuseno, arriving in a mechanized rig to look in on his creation. The doctor greets Saitama and hands over a lavish spread of premium beef for the pot. Saitama passes the cooking to Genos, then realizes the meal must stretch across every guest.

Within the Monster Association, Royal Ripper and Bug God try to account for Garou's supposed demise before Gyoro Gyoro, who sees through the lie yet lets them live, cautioning that the enemy could strike within hours. Gyoro Gyoro has also seized Child Emperor's reconnaissance unit, Dig Here Woof Woof No. 3. Assorted monsters mill about awaiting combat. The captured Tareo is thrown in with the hostage Waganma, who boasts that his family's fortune guarantees rescue and tries to press the boy into service, until Sludge Jellyfish unnerves him by praising the executives' strength against S-Class heroes. Far off, Garou stirs where he was left for dead and drags himself onward.

Carrying the title Hot Pot, this Volume 18 chapter of the Monster Association Arc came out on March 24, 2018, and corresponds to webcomic chapter 57. Its tankobon printing was divided, with the latter portion becoming Cabbage Finished in Volume 19. The material reached the screen in Episode 27. It succeeds Limiter and leads into Cabbage Finished.
