Confidence is a comedic bonus chapter released with Volume 17 of One-Punch Man. It picks up after Speed-o'-Sound Sonic swallows a Monster Cell, tracking the ninja's mistaken conviction that he has evolved into a powerful monster when he has really just endured a rough night.
Having consumed a Monster Cell, Sonic spends the entire night wracked with diarrhea. Once the ordeal finally passes, he concludes that his body has been fundamentally remade, even though his outward appearance has not changed at all.
Sonic nurses bitter feelings toward Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame for never warning him of the side effect, then sets the grudge aside since joining the Monster Association was never his intention. Sensing a lighter, stronger frame, he brims with self-assurance and vows he will need time to master his supposed new form.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....

In the Confidence chapter, Sonic nurses bitter feelings toward Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame for never warning him about the side effects of the Monster Cell, though he sets the grudge aside since joining the Monster Association was never his intention.
The joke in Confidence is that Sonic's supposed monstrous transformation is really just the result of shedding two kilograms overnight, which he mistakes for a fundamental physical change.
Confidence was released with Volume 17 of One-Punch Man on August 3, 2018, and its story was also adapted into the anime as Episode 25.
