Recollection Of A Most Sincere Apprentice is an extra chapter included with Volume 7 of One-Punch Man. It follows Charanko on the day he means to walk away from Bang's dojo, and the small twist that keeps him there.
The chapter centers on Charanko as he prepares to leave the dojo run by Bang. He had signed on a year earlier hoping martial arts would make him popular with girls, but with little talent for fighting he wound up handling every chore and living in fear of his intimidating senior.
Having grown neither stronger nor more popular, Charanko decides to quit. Reaching the entrance, he is startled to find his master scrubbing the floors himself, and when he asks why, Bang tells him the others have all left. Realizing he is now the last student standing, Charanko grasps that this makes him the number one disciple.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Recollection Of A Most Sincere Apprentice follows Charanko, a student at Bang's dojo, on the day he means to walk away from his training, and the small twist that keeps him there.
Charanko signed on at Bang's dojo a year earlier hoping martial arts would make him popular with girls, but with little talent for fighting he ended up handling chores instead.
In Recollection Of A Most Sincere Apprentice, Charanko decides to quit because he has grown neither stronger nor more popular after a year of training under Bang.
Charanko finds Bang scrubbing the floors alone and learns that every other student has already left, which means Charanko is now the last one standing and effectively the number one disciple. Buoyed by this new standing, he abandons the idea of leaving and resolves to train even harder.
Charanko is a student at Bang's dojo who, in this bonus chapter, becomes the last remaining apprentice and thus the top disciple by default.
