Toshiyuki Morikawa is a veteran Japanese voice actor and the founder of the voice acting company Axlone who voices Boros, the alien conqueror and final antagonist of One Punch Man's first season, produced by Madhouse.
Morikawa voices Boros, the powerful alien warlord who leads an army called the Dark Matter Thieves to Earth in search of a fight strong enough to satisfy him. His invasion sets up the climactic battle of the anime's first season, a drawn-out fight against Saitama that pushes the hero further than almost anyone else in the series. Boros ultimately loses and dies complimenting Saitama as a worthy opponent, a fittingly grand villain turn for Morikawa's booming, commanding voice.
Morikawa has voiced anime and games since the late 1980s and founded his own agency, Axlone, in 2011. His resume includes major franchise roles such as Sephiroth across the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games, Dante from the Devil May Cry games, Minato Namikaze from Naruto Shippuden, and Yoshikage Kira from the Diamond Is Unbreakable arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, alongside a run of One Piece characters including Eneru and Hatchan. His deep, commanding voice has also made him a go-to Japanese dub artist for Hollywood stars like Keanu Reeves, Tom Cruise, and Mark Wahlberg.
