Mukade is a Sunagakure missing-nin and the villain of Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Lost Tower. Seeking the buried Ryumyaku chakra vein, he flings himself twenty years into the past, seizes the city of Roran as the minister Anrokuzan, and bends its puppet army toward conquering the shinobi world.
In the present Mukade looks frail and wasted, his ribs showing beneath an open, high-collared brown vest worn with pale trousers and gauze wound about his midsection; his dark brown hair hangs long. Once he reaches the past as Anrokuzan he fills out considerably, trading the vest for a long red robe and a tall ceremonial hat. His puppet transformations are grimmer still: a spider shape with four limbs sprouting from each flank and a menacing face, and, at his largest, a centipede-bodied form with a hulking clawed torso and two glowing green eyes.
Mukade is grasping, cruel, and steeped in ambition, a schemer who lies and manipulates to get his way. He fed both of Roran's queens poisoned counsel, and when Queen Seramu saw through him and refused to go on, he had her killed and turned her daughter Sara into his next puppet, playing the doting guardian until she outlived her usefulness, then coldly boasting that he had murdered her mother. His hunger for control over the Ryumyaku made him fixate on killing Sara outright, and he hid the citizens he had enslaved from her sight. Once the chakra vein was his, his arrogance swelled into a belief that he was immortal and untouchable, and he cast off the name Mukade entirely, styling himself Anrokuzan, minister of Roran.
In his weakened present-day state Mukade wielded little beyond his time-jumping trick, drawing the seal off the Ryumyaku source to hurl himself, and unintentionally Naruto and Yamato, into the distant past. His real power came from the vein itself. Channelled through Roran's towers, its endless chakra let him puppeteer the entire Puppet Ninja Force at once through threads run into the city's supply pipes, fuse those puppets into new shapes, and regenerate any damage as fast as it was dealt. He had remade his own body into a puppet as well, shifting from a human-looking shell into a spider that fired a drilling spear from its mouth, and finally into a colossal centipede formed from his whole army, able to crush foes, spit exploding fingertips, and swallow chakra, even a Rasenshuriken.
A Konoha team of Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Yamato had been sent to seize Mukade, but he escaped into the past just before capture, dragging Naruto and Yamato along and surfacing six years ahead of them. In that window he slew Queen Seramu, installed himself as minister under the Anrokuzan name, and used her daughter Sara as a human puppet to unseal the Ryumyaku, meaning to weaponise the puppet army and conquer the great shinobi nations. Once Naruto arrived and exposed the deception to Sara, Anrokuzan escalated through his spider form to the merged centipede monster, overwhelming Naruto, Minato, Shibi, and Choza.
The tide only turned when Sara sealed the vein and cut off his healing, letting Naruto finish him with the Supreme Ultimate Rasengan. Even dying, he tipped his body into the Ryumyaku pool in a last bid to make it erupt and take everyone with him.

Anrokuzan is the identity Mukade takes on after leaping twenty years into the past, installing himself as minister of the city of Roran. He casts off the name Mukade entirely once the Ryumyaku's power is his.
Channeling the Ryumyaku's endless chakra through Roran's towers, Mukade could puppeteer the entire Puppet Ninja Force at once and remake his own body into puppet forms, including a spider and a colossal centipede. These forms let him regenerate damage and even swallow a Rasenshuriken.

The Ryumyaku is a buried chakra vein beneath the city of Roran that Mukade sought to seize so he could weaponize the Puppet Ninja Force and conquer the great shinobi nations.
