Chronos Typhoon

Chronos Typhoon is Sailor Pluto's air-based strike, present in the manga, the musicals, several games, and Crystal. Drawing on the Garnet Orb, she throws a spinning, cyclone-like burst of energy toward whatever she faces. Fans tend to treat it as her talisman move, the counterpart to Uranus' Space Sword Blaster and Neptune's Submarine Reflection, standing alongside her other signature, Dead Scream.

The technique manifests as rushing wind and swirling force, an odd fit given that command over the winds properly belongs to Sailor Uranus rather than Pluto. In Crystal she first unleashes the stronger version to tear the four Inner Guardians loose from the sticky mass trapping them. Game renditions have her conjure a tornado that travels diagonally at the foe, able to strike high or low. Its Crystal staging echoes the way the 90s anime handled Dead Scream.

Sailor Pluto owns the attack throughout. During the Stars arc and in Sailor Moon Cosmos, an Eternal Pluto under Galaxia's control turns the Garnet Orb on her targets with the same cyclone rush. The name nods to Chronos, the primordial Greek embodiment of time, a figure often confused with the Titan Cronus, who is the one actually linked to Saturn.
