Sailor Planet Power

Sailor Planet Power is a stronger cousin of Sailor Planet Attack, a combined energy technique carried out by the Solar System Sailor Guardians. It surfaces in the manga, the anime, the musicals, and Crystal, standing as one of the more powerful group efforts the guardians can muster.

The guardians merge their separate planetary energies into a single, overwhelming release of positive force. In the anime the five Inner Guardians position themselves beneath their target, join hands in a ring, and channel a huge column of energy upward, an effect the story likens to Chibiusa's powerful moonbeams from the Black Moon arc; when Super Sailor Moon lends her power at the same time, the output doubles. The manga version, first aimed at Zirconia, requires each guardian to call out "Sailor Planet Power," name her own planet, and finish with "Meditation," giving it the fuller title Sailor Planet Power Meditation. The Armour Eternal musical streamlines this so the guardians speak the complete name without inserting their individual planets.

The move belongs to the Solar System Sailor Guardians as a whole, with Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all named among its performers. In the anime the five Inner Guardians handle it, optionally amplified by Super Sailor Moon.
