Every incarnation of Sailor Star Maker carries this energy technique, whether in the anime, the manga, the musicals, or Crystal. It usually needs no tool, though in parts of the anime she routes it through her Sailor Star Yell.
Mechanics
The technique releases energy that scatters into a cluster of glowing spheres flung at the target. It is deadly at full strength, but in the anime Star Maker deliberately held back, using it only to soften a Phage so that Eternal Sailor Moon could purify it afterward. Three distinct animated sequences exist: an early one built around a single star lifted overhead, a second that swapped in the Sailor Star Yell, and a more elaborate third where she spins with the Yell before firing rounds of blue energy.
Notable Users
Sailor Star Maker is the technique's owner. Its anime debut in episode 174 targeted Sailor Guts. In Act 51 of the manga she combined it with Sailor Star Fighter's Star Serious Laser to finish off Sailor Aluminum Siren, a pairing repeated in Sailor Moon Cosmos and later joined by Sailor Star Healer against Sailor Phi and Sailor Chi. On stage it first brought down Sailor Buttress, and it also appears in the game Sailor Stars Fuwa Fuwa Panic 2.
