Kyurene schemes to slip an energy-draining tape into the recording studio, but Akiko grabs it by mistake, believing it to be Yusuke's demo, which puts her squarely in the Youma's sights. When she passes the tape along to Yusuke, the danger shifts onto him instead. Kyurene later seizes Akiko as a hostage to reclaim the tape, and Yusuke's rescue of her wins her heart. With Kyurene and the cursed tape both destroyed, the episode closes on Akiko and Yusuke's marriage, a turn that leaves Naru crestfallen.
