Eudial

Red dominates her combat outfit, running from a sleeveless top that bares her midriff down to matching trousers and strappy heeled sandals. Bands of the same color wrap each wrist, and a black fringed skirt sits at her hips fastened by a star-shaped buckle. Her hair and eyes share a red tone, with two front sections bound off in pink ties.

Ranked as the first and leading witch of the group, she answers to Professor Tomoe in the television continuity. The Daimons she deploys are grown by Tomoe himself, and she hauls them around in a station wagon to keep the Sailor Guardians at bay while she harvests Pure Heart Crystals. Within her own ranks she is a constant target of mockery from Mimete.

She steps up as the main Pure Heart hunter following the fall of Kaolinite. A memorable turn comes when Minako, frustrated at never being singled out, tries to bait the Death Busters by donating blood in bulk. The stunt draws Eudial in, but Minako proves able to hold her own crystal while awake, and Eudial retreats into a parking structure. Uranus, Neptune, and Usagi give chase, only to be sealed inside by her Daimon Doorknobder, which forces all four to power up and expose their secret identities to one another. Eudial even swats away Moon Spiral Heart Attack using Fire Buster.

Eventually she works out that Uranus and Neptune carry Pure Heart Crystals and lures them to the Marine Cathedral. She succeeds in pulling out Neptune's heart, but an untransformed Usagi tackles her over a high ledge, a fall she walks away from. After Uranus turns Eudial's own weapon on herself to draw out her crystal, Eudial makes off with both Talismans and snares the pursuing Guardians in a glue trap. Sailor Moon catches up and fights her, yet a second Moon Spiral Heart Attack is repelled by Fire Buster II. Sailor Pluto then arrives, seizes the Talismans, and reveals the orb on her staff to be the third one. The trio of Talismans blazes together and calls forth the Holy Grail, which Sailor Moon reaches ahead of Eudial before ascending to a new form that bounces the flames back and hurls her through a window.

Her end comes on the road. Fleeing in her car, she never learns that Mimete has severed the brakes and stuffed the vehicle with snails, sending Eudial over a cliff and into the sea.

Where the rest of the Witches 5 rely on sorcery, Eudial builds sophisticated weapons out of ordinary household items, potent enough to stagger the Sailor Guardians. She fashions a hydraulic gun so she can extract Pure Heart Crystals personally, using her Daimons only as a screen against interference. Her methods extend to flooding a mansion with poison gas and coding a program on her office computer to hunt down Talisman bearers, and she is rarely without the station wagon she drives with abandon across wildly varied locations.

By the events of episode 106 she also demonstrates the ability to teleport and hover, echoing the tricks of Kaolinite. Her named arsenal covers Fire Buster, its upgraded Fire Buster II, and the hydraulic extraction gun. In the Cloverway English dub her name was rendered as Eugeal.
