Guardian Jupiter

Shrunk to the scale of a winged sprite, she hovers in the air rather than standing, ringed by a soft green glow. Every other detail of her look copies Super Sailor Jupiter, from the uniform down to the hair. In the black-and-white manga panels that glow reads only as a broad circle drawn around her, so its hue stays hidden; the Crystal version instead traces the green light directly along her outline.

Rather than a separate individual, she works as a living aspect of the Sailor Guardian she belongs to, an extension of Makoto's own crystal in the same way the Sailor Crystal is. When her charge starts to slip, the spirit answers with warmth and coaxing, speaking to her heart to draw her strength back to the surface.

She reaches Makoto inside a dream after Hawk's Eye's Lemures leaves the girl fading, offering encouragement and handing back the Jupiter Crystal so the call of Jupiter Crystal Power, Make Up can restore her Super form. The spirit returns in Elysion the moment Super Sailor Moon draws out the Holy Moon Chalice, when the solar system soldiers abruptly slip into their princess selves and each is joined by her own power guardian. Floating before Princess Jupiter, she instructs her to route energy from Io Castle into the chalice, an act that raises Usagi to her Eternal state and lets Makoto reach Eternal Sailor Jupiter for the first time. Once the castle has been summoned, Guardian Jupiter fades and does not return.
