History
A middle schooler at Gohongi Number One Junior High, not far from Rei's T.A. Girls' Academy, Kijin earns the prestigious Japan Picture Grand Prize for his work. That skill makes him a mark for Nephrite, who slips the Youma Kyameran inside his camera. Under its influence he opens a modeling shoot to any girl who wants to join, drawing in both Naru and Usagi, and everyone he photographs ends up sealed inside the device. Usagi slips away from being captured by sheer accident, and Sailor Moon knocks the camera loose with her Sailor Moon Kick just before the Youma emerges and turns Kijin himself into a photograph. Once the monster is beaten and the victims freed, Sailor Moon tells him that a girl's real beauty lies in the heart that fights for what she believes, a lesson that leads him to give up photography until he can understand it more deeply.
