In the original 1990s anime, Kunzite is the fourth and most powerful general of the Shitennou, renamed Malachite in the DiC dub. A master of dark energy, he hunts the Silver Crystal for the Dark Kingdom while sharing a devoted romance with Zoisite.
A white cape sets him apart from his fellow generals, none of whom wear one. Over lightly tanned skin he sports the grey Shitennou uniform accented with blue trim and white gloves, his epaulets each crowned by a blue gem, and his pale hair falls well past his shoulders. His name is believed to come from kunzite, a form of the mineral spodumene.
Calm and calculating, Kunzite excels at reading his opponents and drawing up cunning schemes, qualities that make him the deadliest of the four. He is deeply attached to Zoisite, and after the prince is placed under his command he comes to resent the brainwashed Tuxedo Mask for pulling his punches against Sailor Moon. Unlike the others, he never bothers with a human disguise, preferring to direct Youma plots from the shadows.
He is introduced consoling Zoisite, who is stung after Nephrite muscles in on the Silver Crystal assignment meant for him. Once Nephrite is dead, Kunzite periodically backs Zoisite's pursuit of the Rainbow Crystals, and when Zoisite duels Tuxedo Mask over them, Kunzite steps in and claims the stones. After Sailor Moon defeats Zoisite and Queen Beryl kills him for defiance, Kunzite battles the Guardians alone and is beaten back by an unnamed strike from the Moon Stick. Grieving, he keeps searching for Sailor Moon by turning ordinary people into Youma and fighting beside the reluctant, brainwashed Tuxedo Mask.
When the Senshi find a route to the Dark Kingdom, he ambushes them in the cave passage, where they are flung into the past. There he strikes at Luna and Artemis, and upon the Guardians' return he conjures energy knives against them. His command of dark power lets him fire blasts and blades, raise a barrier that soaks up the Senshi's attacks and hurls them back, and levitate objects into his hand. At the Starlight Tower he traps the Guardians inside such a dome, yet Sailor Moon breaks through with the Legendary Silver Crystal. In the final clash, after the Guardians combine their powers to shield her, Sailor Moon uses Moon Healing Escalation to bounce one of his own blades back into him. Run through, he dissolves into bubbles, remarking that he will soon rejoin Zoisite.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
