Mii

The two versions of Mii differ in their small details. Her manga design keeps her hair dark and gathered into a pair of low pigtails, and she is usually carrying a school bag. Crystal recolors her with brown hair worn in high pigtails and gives her green eyes. That later look dresses her in a pale green blouse over a white skirt that falls to the knee, paired with white socks and pink shoes, while a red bag hangs at her side.

Mii is a grade-schooler who lingers at Hikawa Shrine once classes end, filling the wait before her bus arrives. Those visits are how she grows close to Rei Hino, and her quiet routine there makes her one of the shrine's familiar young faces.

Her role in the story begins when she leaves the shrine the same way she always does and never reaches home. Her disappearance is one link in a chain of vanishings that Jadeite has engineered, siphoning energy from the bus riders he abducts. In the 1990s anime the plot of missing girls survives, yet Mii herself is left out and goes unmentioned there.
