Mina Aino

Mina is a near-mirror of her mother in her everyday form, the one clear difference being the slim orange ribbon in her hair where Minako wears a thick red one. When the five girls take on their Guardian forms near the end of the story, that thin ribbon swells into a large bow like her mother's. She dons the standard Sailor Guardian uniform, though the color of her fuku and even the shoes she wears go unshown.

She inherited her mother's boisterous streak in full. The two of them slip out on so-called field trips to go see celebrities, and Minako is relieved whenever Mina is gone, since the house descends into chaos while she is around. Among her friends she keeps her distance from Kousagi, just as the others do.

Her father, whose name is never given, writes for sitcoms. Mina attends cooking lessons with Ami Jr., Rei Jr., Mako Kino, and Kousagi Tsukino, taught by Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna. She is startled by the strange cat's pink coloring and let down that a black-and-white manga cannot show it off to readers. When the rabbit horde descends on Earth, Mina awakens as an unnamed Sailor Senshi to defend the planet, and her question about the invaders' greatest fear sparks Kousagi's plan. She is amazed to learn that she and her friends had all shared the very same dream.
