Personality

His borrowed name nods to the vain figure of Greek myth who lends his name to narcissism, and the label fits. Slick and self-assured, he wins over a classroom almost the instant he arrives, trading on flattery and easy charm to get what he wants.

Minako Aino falls for the act and develops a crush on him, a memory that lingers well beyond his defeat. She later recalls him as her very first love and the first enemy she ever struck down, and it is Higashi who plants the idea of the red ribbon she comes to wear in her hair.

Abilities

As with most of the Dark Agency's ranks, his central weapon is mind control aimed above all at women. He rarely needs force, preferring to whisper sweet nothings and lock eyes with his victims to place them under hypnotic sway. Bent to his will, they become the instruments through which he means to bring Tokyo under his rule.
