The 1990s anime presents Queen Beryl as ruler of the Dark Kingdom and mistress of its four generals. Once a mortal sorceress undone by love and envy, she led the assault that destroyed the Moon Kingdom, and she spends the first season chasing the Silver Crystal to finish reviving Queen Metalia.
Long red hair falls in waves past red eyes set against yellow scleras. Her constant outfit is a full-length purple dress paired with a golden choker holding an indigo gem, turquoise earrings, silver bracelets, and a black tiara across her forehead. Once she becomes Super Beryl she swells into a far larger shape with turquoise hair and pale blue skin, a gem on her brow, and a dress recolored to the scarlet that her ordinary hair used to be.
At the close of the Silver Millennium she leads an army of brainwashed humans, the generals among them, against the Moon Kingdom, intending to loose the Dark Kingdom's power across the universe. The kingdom falls and countless die, including Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion, but Queen Serenity spends her last strength to reincarnate the slain and seal the Dark Kingdom away.
In the present her aims are to find the Silver Crystal, rule the world, spread dark energy, and wake Metalia. She first gathers human energy through Jadeite, whose repeated failures against Sailor Moon earn him Eternal Sleep, a punishment that freezes the victim in crystal and casts them into an inescapable void. Nephrite takes over, is foiled just as often, and after betraying the kingdom is slain by Zoisite. With the energy she collects, Metalia sends Beryl after the Seven Rainbow Crystals, which form the Silver Crystal and awaken seven great monsters. Zoisite pursues them, but on learning that Tuxedo Mask is the reborn Endymion, Beryl orders him spared; Zoisite defies her and stabs him with ice, so Beryl kills him and then possesses Mamoru with Metalia's essence to bend him to the Dark Kingdom.
Because Sailor Moon holds the newly formed Silver Crystal, Beryl assigns Kunzite and Mamoru to retrieve it, though the two refuse to cooperate; Mamoru is briefly healed, then recaptured and brainwashed once more after Kunzite dies. When the guardians reach D-Point, Beryl unleashes the DD Girls to kill them with illusions, and all fall save Sailor Moon, whom Beryl draws into the Dark Kingdom for a duel with Mamoru. Sailor Moon frees him, and he wounds Beryl gravely with a rose born of pure love. Begging Metalia for power, Beryl is possessed and enlarged into Super Beryl, roughly fifty feet tall. She battles Princess Serenity with darkness until Serenity, buoyed by her fallen friends spirits, channels the Silver Crystal into Moon Prism Power, an immense orb of pink light that melts Beryl and destroys Metalia along with her.
Beryl was a gifted sorceress even before her corruption, and Metalia's taint tainted and vastly amplified her magic. She can fire lightning and spheres of energy from both her staff and her hands, but her signature gift is the power to bewitch and bend the minds of others, men above all.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
In the anime, Princess Serenity destroys Queen Beryl by channeling the Silver Crystal into Moon Prism Power, an immense blast of pink light that melts the giant Super Beryl and annihilates Queen Metalia in the same moment.
Queen Beryl leads the Dark Kingdom's siege on the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Millennium and returns in the present hunting the Silver Crystal to revive Queen Metalia. Wounded by Tuxedo Mask's rose and then possessed by Metalia into the giant Super Beryl, she is finally destroyed by Princess Serenity's Moon Prism Power.
Queen Beryl's affections in the anime belong to Prince Endymion, who is listed among the things she likes and named as her beloved even after her fall into darkness.
Queen Beryl begins as a mortal sorceress who leads an army of brainwashed humans against the Moon Kingdom at the end of the Silver Millennium. Reborn afterward, she rules the Dark Kingdom's four generals and spends the first season pursuing the Silver Crystal until Princess Serenity destroys her and Queen Metalia together.
Queen Beryl becomes Super Beryl by begging Queen Metalia for more power after Tuxedo Mask wounds her with a rose born of pure love. Metalia's possession swells her into a roughly fifty-foot giant with turquoise hair and pale blue skin before Princess Serenity finally defeats her.
