Appearance
Serenity's hair was drawn gold in her earliest scene before being corrected to silver in every appearance after. She keeps it in the same looping style worn by Princess Serenity and Usagi and dresses in white.
Personality
She reads as a sorrowful, loving mother, mourning her lost daughter yet reaching across time to steer and strengthen her reborn child. Even as a fading spirit she offers guidance rather than despair.
History
In the first season the Guardians were flung to the Moon when Kunzite struck them at the North Pole, the Moon Stick steering them safely to the kingdom's ruins. There they encountered an image of Queen Serenity, who laid out the history of the Moon Kingdom before returning them to Earth. She surfaced again just once in Sailor Moon R, appearing within Usagi's mind after a Cardian's attack to restore the Silver Crystal, fuse it with the Transformation Brooch into the stronger Crystal Star Brooch, and grant the Cutie Moon Rod. Across SuperS she never appeared in person but was invoked repeatedly by Luna, Artemis, and Nehelenia, credited with having ordered the dark queen sealed inside a mirror within the new moon, likely by drawing on the Silver Crystal's power.
