Appearance

He looks to be a man in his sixties, dressed in a black coat with a white clerical-style collar that lends him a pastor's air. Personality

For all his severity, he holds real affection for Sakiko, though his fixation on her gifts keeps him harsh. Stung by the scientific community's dismissal of her powers as fraudulent, he drives her hard to prove his detractors wrong, brushing aside how much she dislikes it. In the end he lets go of the grudge and softens toward her and the visitors.

History

Barred from the psychic community after trying to demonstrate that ghosts are real, he turns to his young daughter's abilities as his instrument of revenge, meaning to scare off the people who ridiculed him and, later, the Sailor Senshi who cross his path. Using a coin to lull Sakiko into a hypnotic sleep, he seizes control of her powers to raise a ghost, but the creature slips his grasp and rounds on him. The Senshi prove unable to wound it, and it is Sakiko who at last banishes it.
