VesVes / Sailor Vesta

In her circus guise VesVes is marked by fiery red hair, matching red eyes, and tanned skin, the second shortest of the four sisters. She dresses in a red and black two-piece under a sheer pink skirt, her hair swept back and studded with gold bands set with red stones, and she finishes the look with golden armlets, gold ear covers, horned white shoulder guards, and red sandals.

Her awakened Sailor Vesta form ties that scarlet hair into a tall ponytail wrapped in the same gem-set gold bands, held by a dark strap fixed to a red ornament shaped like a crescent-bitten disc. The guardian uniform is a white bodysuit topped by a black chest bow with a red star brooch, its collar and choker red and free of stripes, paired with a gold tiara bearing a red star, puffed white sleeves, white gloves reaching the biceps with red trim, a red skirt with a faintly red-tinged white bow behind, and tall white boots cut with red arches and yellow stars.

VesVes serves as the fiery counterpart to Sailor Mars of the inner guardians, blunt and hot-tempered to suit her flame-red coloring. For all that brashness she is capable of genuine attachment, and she takes the deaths of the Amazon Trio hard.

Along with the rest of the future Sailor Quartet, VesVes is in truth a guardian twisted by Queen Nehelenia and bound to the Dead Moon Circus under Zirconia until she is eventually freed. Within the circus she works as its animal tamer, keeping beasts that include an elephant, and the Amazon Trio of Tiger's Eye, Hawk's Eye, and Fish Eye begin as her own pets, whose deaths in battle wound her. When PallaPalla spots Chibiusa striking the barrier in her attempts to slip back to the future, VesVes looses Tiger's Eye on the city to look into it; the beast's rampage panics Tokyo and flushes out Super Sailor Chibi Moon and Super Sailor Moon, whom the circus had not known were there. In a fight she hurls knives and cracks a whip, extensions of her circus trade. Her fuller story is bound up with that of the Amazoness Quartet and the Sailor Quartet as a whole.
