Known also as the Chaos Seed, this gem is the Sailor Crystal belonging to the Galaxy Cauldron, the wellspring of all star seeds. It carries weight in the closing chapters of the manga, in its Sailor Moon Crystal adaptation, and in select entries of the stage productions.
Function
The crystal was watched over by the Guardian Chaos, a protector bound to it much as Chaos itself was bound to the Galaxy Cauldron. When Eternal Sailor Moon unleashed her Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power, both Chaos and its guardian were dissolved and defeated almost completely, sacrificing themselves back into the Cauldron. That destruction proves impermanent, however, since the crystal is fated to reform in a distant age.
