Dark Jewelry Star Bracelet

This bracelet is a shadowed variant of the standard Jewelry Star Bracelet worn by the Sailor Guardians in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. It falls into the hands of a mind-controlled Ami Mizuno, operating under the name Akumi, who relies on it to take the Dark Mercury form.

Its coloring is the inverse of the original. Where the ordinary bracelet is pink with red hearts, this one flips to heart-shaped ornaments in dark blue and violet, with a white outer surface.

Ami triggers the change into Dark Mercury by speaking the phrase Dark Power, Make Up, the bracelet serving as her transformation device throughout the brainwashed stretch of the story.

Ami Mizuno, in her Akumi persona, is the only wielder. In Act 28, after she has been restored to herself, she is still found wearing the bracelet in Kunzite's forest. She takes it off and throws it away, yet she and Usagi keep stumbling back onto it, and those repeated encounters end up guiding the two out of the woods. Notably, this stands as the single instance in Sailor Moon where a guardian's transformation item itself is turned to darkness rather than only her form.
