Deep Aqua Mirror

Belonging to Sailor Neptune, the Deep Aqua Mirror ranks among the three sacred Talismans. Its most direct use is powering the Submarine Reflection attack, yet its worth extends well past combat. The mirror can expose the truth of a situation and mark where foes are hiding. Alongside its two companion Talismans, it holds a role in summoning Sailor Saturn during moments of dire crisis, a summoning it carried out at the fall of the Silver Millennium, and the trio resonate together when the Holy Grail is called forth.

In the manga and Crystal, Neptune attacks with Submarine Reflection and can raise a barrier with the mirror as well. She tells Mamoru it can reveal the past lives of others, and it doubles as an ordinary looking glass, useful even for applying makeup. The 1990s anime granted it a slimmer skill set, leaving out the ability to show a person's past life. There, in the third season, the mirror lay sealed within Michiru's Pure Heart Crystal; once it was drawn out beside the Space Sword and the Garnet Orb, the Holy Grail took form, and Neptune later used it to spot the true Germatoid before Uranus struck the creature down.

Sailor Neptune is the primary owner, though the mirror also answers to others. When Michiru departed to raise the infant Hotaru, she entrusted it to Chibiusa with a promise to come back; Chibiusa in turn lent it to Rei, who wanted it to trace the distortions left by the Dead Moon Circus. Once the Outer Guardians returned, Chibiusa invoked Submarine Mirror, teleporting the item back to Super Sailor Neptune. The mirror also turns up in the game Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story as Neptune's Talisman, tucked into a Rare Items menu where it cannot be equipped, appearing only within the Submarine Reflection animation.
