Galactica Bracelets

Studded with purple and green stones, these bracelets are the standard equipment of Shadow Galactica's ranks. They grant survival and added power, but that gift carries a leash, tying whoever wears them to Sailor Galaxia's command.

In the anime the bracelets let a person live on without a Star Seed while boosting their strength, at the cost of falling under Galaxia's control; only Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune were ever shown breaking free of it. Stripping the bracelets away undid the Sailor Animamates, who possessed no Star Seeds of their own, giving Galaxia a quick way to discard any minion who displeased her.

The bands doubled as weapons for pulling out Star Seeds. The wearer fired spheres of golden light from the gems, and where the beams met their mark, the victim's Star Seed rose atop a blossom above their head, dimmed, blackened, and left the host transformed into a Phage.

Every member of Shadow Galactica wears the bracelets. In the manga and Crystal, some were never Guardians at all but people who had handed a planet's Sailor Crystal to Galaxia and received the bands in exchange, gaining Senshi-like powers as Sailor Animamates. There the bracelets fire blasts that tear out a Guardian's Sailor Crystal and grant Galaxia total command over any Senshi whose crystal she claimed. Notably, when Galaxia became her Chaos Galaxia form the bracelets shattered, yet her body endured because Chaos had consumed her.
