Overview
This rod marks Sailor Chibi Moon's first true armament after she joins the guardians. Its origin differs by medium. In the printed story it comes into being when her companion Luna-P reshapes itself into the weapon, born of her wish to stand beside Sailor Moon. In the animated telling she already carries it by the time she debuts as a guardian in the S season, and it likewise serves her in Crystal.
Function
Chibi Moon channels the rod into her Pink Sugar Heart Attack, and pairs it with Tuxedo Mask for the combined Pink Sugar Tuxedo Attack, folding in his own Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber. The weapon's strength varies across versions; in the 1990s series the heart attack lands noticeably weaker than elsewhere. Even so, it proves its worth when she turns back Tellu's assaulting vines after putting genuine faith in the rod's power. Within Crystal she wields it much as in the manga, joining Sailor Moon and the rest to hold off the Death Busters.
