Prism Heart Compact

The Prism Heart Compact is Chibiusa Tsukino's first transformation item, the brooch she relies on to take the shape of Sailor Chibi Moon. Some fans refer to it as the Pink Sugar Compact, but that label was never spoken on screen nor printed in the source material, which makes it an unofficial name.

By holding up the compact and declaring the phrase Moon Prism Power, Make Up, Chibiusa converts into her guardian form. In the Crystal continuity she keeps a future version of the Silver Crystal tucked inside it on a slender chain, and the brooch responds by reacting whenever a Daimon draws near. Later, during Sailor Moon Eternal, the item evolves into the Crisis Moon Compact.

Chibiusa is the only owner of the compact. In the third season of the original 1990s anime she arrives from the future explaining that Neo-Queen Serenity has sent her to the present era for guardian training, which implies her mother supplied the brooch; she first demonstrates its power in the episode following her debut. In the Crystal version she wears it daily over her everyday clothing.
