Overview
In the manga, every member of the Witches 5 keeps one of these staves. The design is a brown cane whose upper end loops into the shape of an infinity symbol, with a black star sitting at the loop's center. Whether the anime gave each witch her own staff is left unclear.
Function
The canes are turned on the Sailor Guardians as instruments of attack. Mimete channels hers to cast the Charm Buster in both the manga and the anime. In the animated version, Cyprine and Ptilol are seen loosing red and blue spheres of energy from their staves, and they can also soak up and bounce back incoming attacks. Within the manga and Crystal, the whole roster of the Witches 5, along with Kaolinite, is equipped with a staff.
